## AQUANIMITY — 14.70m Dufour catamaran, Caribbean Built by Dufour in 2021, AQUANIMITY is a 14.70m (48ft) sailing catamaran that makes its case through balance rather than volume. Four cabins, eight guests, a crew of two: the arithmetic of a yacht designed for a group that wants to sail properly and still come back to genuine comfort below. The accommodation is unusually even-handed for a catamaran of this size. Each of the four cabins has a queen-size bed and its own en-suite facilities — no hierarchy of a good cabin and a compromise cabin, no one drawing the short straw. For two families sailing together, or four couples, that symmetry matters more than any single grand stateroom would. Her cruising grounds are the Virgin Islands — British and U.S. — and the Windwards, which is where a catamaran of this draft earns its keep: short hops between anchorages, easy access to shallow bays, and the stability at anchor that makes breakfast on deck a pleasure rather than an exercise in balance. A crew of two runs the yacht and looks after the guests — captain and chef/hostess, the configuration that works on a boat this size, where service is close, personal and unhurried. You get to know your crew over a week aboard, and they get to know how you like your days: early departures or slow mornings, a beach for lunch or a quiet cove to yourselves. AQUANIMITY suits charterers who measure a week by the sailing and the anchorages rather than by square metres — the Caribbean at the scale it was meant to be seen.
