## Alfamarine 78 Hardtop — Italian lines, Tyrrhenian cruising There is a certain kind of Italian yacht that reads as fast even at anchor. The Alfamarine 78 Hardtop belongs to that family: 27 metres of low, purposeful profile carried on a 6-metre beam, with a hardtop that shelters the helm and upper social area without closing the yacht off from the sea around it. Twin Caterpillar engines of 1,650 hp each sit behind that promise. The result is a yacht that will genuinely move when you ask it to — useful when the plan changes and the anchorage you had in mind is another headland away — while holding a settled, unfussy ride at cruising speed. Her 2019 refit keeps the whole package current. Accommodation is arranged over three cabins for up to seven guests: an owner's cabin, a VIP cabin, and a third cabin fitted with twin beds. Three bathrooms serve the accommodation. Detailed bed configuration is available on request. Air conditioning runs throughout, with generator capacity to keep it running at anchor as readily as underway — the unglamorous detail that decides how a July afternoon off Panarea actually feels. The main salon is the yacht's social centre: generously proportioned, elegantly finished, and the natural retreat when the sun is at its highest or the evening turns cool. Outside, the hardtop-covered deck areas give you shade and openness in the same breath. Her cruising grounds are among the most rewarding in the Mediterranean — Sicily and the Aeolian volcanoes, the Calabrian coast, Sardinia, Malta, and the Gulf of Naples with Capri and the Amalfi shoreline within easy reach. A professional crew handles the running of the yacht, the itinerary and the table, so the days shape themselves around what you feel like doing rather than around logistics. A well-judged choice for guests who want Italian design, real performance and the comfort to stay aboard for weeks rather than days.
A selection in the same zone, with a comparable profile.
