MAGISTRA — Apreamare 60 Few yachts speak of their homeland as plainly as a gozzo built in Sorrento. MAGISTRA came out of the Cantieri Apreamare yard in 2007, from a range whose reputation was earned the slow way: hull lines borrowed from the working boats of the Bay of Naples, then refined into something considerably more comfortable without losing the shape that made them work in the first place. The yard's nickname — the Bentley of the sea — has stuck for a reason. She was refitted in 2024. She carries six guests in three en suite cabins: an owner's cabin, a VIP cabin, and a third with twin beds. Detailed bed configuration is available on request. For a day out, she takes up to twelve. What you notice first on board is how easily you move. The side walkways are unusually generous for a 60-footer, so getting forward doesn't require a hand on the rail and a plan. Aft and above, the sundeck and its sofas give you the choice between full sun and the shade of the awning, and the deck layout keeps guests and crew out of each other's way — the kind of detail that only matters once you've spent a full day aboard. Underway she is quick and light on the helm, which changes the character of a charter along this coast. Capri for the morning, back to a quiet anchorage off Ischia by mid-afternoon, and dinner ashore in Positano — all perfectly reasonable in a single day rather than an ambition. MAGISTRA is based at Marina di Stabia and cruises the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Ischia and the Pontine Islands — Ponza, Palmarola, Ventotene — with other areas possible on request, subject to availability.
