Mathieu

Mathieu, founder of BellaYacht Charter

I personally support you in choosing and booking your yacht, by the day or by the week. A yacht broker since 2015, I founded BellaYacht Charter in 2019 to give access to a fleet of some of the finest units available in the Mediterranean and beyond — no unnecessary middlemen.

My commitment: a fast, personal response to every request, concrete proposals rather than a plain catalog, and support at every step — from the first contact to your return to port.

Azimut 68 Fly — Florida & the Bahamas Delivered in 2023 and never before chartered, this Azimut 68 Fly still carries the feel of a yacht in its first season: tight, quiet, and finished to the standard Azimut reserves for its current generation of interiors. She works equally well as a day yacht out of Miami or as a base for a longer run down to the Keys or across to the Bahamas. Twin MAN engines and a stabiliser system do the real work here. The result is unfussy handling and a settled ride — noticeable on the open crossings, and just as welcome at anchor, where the stabilisation keeps life aboard comfortable rather than rolling. The flybridge is where most charters end up spending their time: helm station, wet bar, an al fresco dining area, and sun loungers with clear sightlines in every direction. Below it, the aft deck opens directly into the salon, so the boundary between inside and out largely disappears. Forward, the bow lounge and its oversized sunpads offer the quieter alternative — the place to disappear for an hour while the sandbar crowd gathers aft. Inside, floor-to-ceiling windows run the length of the salon and keep the whole space bright without feeling exposed. The layout is open, the materials carefully chosen, and the ambient lighting tuned for evenings as much as for daylight. A dining area and a fully equipped galley complete the main deck. Accommodation is arranged over four cabins for eight guests. The full-beam owner's cabin sits amidships with its own ensuite bathroom; a VIP cabin and two further cabins with twin beds complete the layout. Detailed bed configuration on request. Your crew handles the practical side — provisioning, timing, tender logistics, the anchorage that suits the day's wind — with the discretion that makes a well-run charter feel effortless. A day out of Miami Leave from your preferred marina and take the Intracoastal Waterway north past Bal Harbour, Sunny Isles and Golden Beach, with the best of the view from the flybridge. Anchor at the Haulover Sandbar around midday for swimming and a long afternoon in warm, shallow water. From there, Oleta River State Park offers a change of register entirely — mangrove channels, shade, and lunch aboard away from the traffic. Time the return for golden hour, drink in hand on the flybridge, as the Miami skyline comes on.
