## BLUE MED — Azimut 68′, cruising Greece An Azimut 68′ from 2001, refitted in 2024, BLUE MED is the kind of yacht that suits the Greek islands well: compact enough to slip into the smaller harbours of the Cyclades or the Ionian, generous enough below deck to make a week aboard feel unhurried. The interior reflects Azimut's Italian sensibility — cherry wood joinery, leather-clad wall panels and fine Italian fabrics, a warm palette rather than a cold one. Four cabins, all with en-suite facilities, accommodate eight guests: an owner's cabin, a VIP cabin and two cabins with twin beds. Detailed bed configuration on request. Outside is where a yacht like this earns its keep in the Aegean. The aft deck opens directly off the salon, shaded and set for alfresco dining, so lunch runs straight from the saloon to the table without anyone changing out of a swimsuit. Wraparound side decks lead forward to a double sun pad on the foredeck — the quiet end of the yacht, and the best seat at anchor. One level up, the flybridge repeats the trick with a second alfresco dining area, sunbeds and a BBQ station, which is where most evenings tend to end up. An extended swim platform gives easy, direct access to the water and to the selection of water toys carried aboard — the difference between a swim stop that involves negotiation and one that simply happens.
