Mathieu

Mathieu, founder of BellaYacht Charter

I personally support you in choosing and booking your yacht, by the day or by the week. A yacht broker since 2015, I founded BellaYacht Charter in 2019 to give access to a fleet of some of the finest units available in the Mediterranean and beyond — no unnecessary middlemen.

My commitment: a fast, personal response to every request, concrete proposals rather than a plain catalog, and support at every step — from the first contact to your return to port.

Excess 11 — Greece The Excess 11 makes no attempt to blend in with the conventional cruising fleet. Her lines are deliberately modern and sporty, and that stance carries through to the way she sails: a yacht built around momentum rather than compromise, for guests who want the Greek islands to arrive under sail rather than under engine. Accommodation is arranged across six cabins for up to ten guests — four with a double bed, two with a single bed. It is a layout that suits the way groups actually travel: two families sharing a week in the Cyclades, a party of friends who want their own space at the end of the day, a charter where nobody has to draw straws for the good cabin. Life aboard follows the rhythm of the anchorage. Mornings on deck with the coastline still soft in the light, long afternoons swimming off the stern, dinners that stretch out because there is no reason to move. The catamaran platform does the quiet work here — stability at anchor, generous deck space, shallow draft that opens up bays the deeper-keeled yachts have to admire from a distance. Your crew handles the sailing, the provisioning and the daily itinerary, adjusting the route to the meltemi and to what you feel like doing rather than to a fixed plan. Greece rewards that flexibility more than most cruising grounds.
