Mathieu

Mathieu, founder of BellaYacht Charter

I personally support you in choosing and booking your yacht, by the day or by the week. A yacht broker since 2015, I founded BellaYacht Charter in 2019 to give access to a fleet of some of the finest units available in the Mediterranean and beyond — no unnecessary middlemen.

My commitment: a fast, personal response to every request, concrete proposals rather than a plain catalog, and support at every step — from the first contact to your return to port.

Oceanis 40.1 — Greece A brand-new Oceanis 40.1, still in her first season, and a genuinely well-judged platform for cruising the Greek islands. What sets this generation apart is the space. Beneath sail, the 40.1 gives up nothing in performance, yet her deck and interior volumes are unusually generous for the class — the kind of difference you notice on day four rather than on the first afternoon, when everyone has found their own corner and the cockpit still doesn't feel crowded at dinner. Accommodation is arranged over four cabins for up to eight guests; the detailed bed configuration is available on request and can be confirmed against your party before booking. She sails with crew, which changes the nature of the week entirely: the passage planning, the anchorage choices, the provisioning and the meals are handled, leaving you to the part that matters — long afternoons at anchor in the Cyclades, and short hops between islands with the engine off. A straightforward, capable yacht for a family or two couples who want to actually sail the Aegean rather than simply be moved around it.
