SATORI

Launched in 2017 by the Turkish yard Big Blue Yachting, SATORI is a sailing yacht that makes an impression before you even step aboard: a deep blue hull, generous deck space and a shallow draft that opens up the smaller harbours and quiet anchorages larger yachts have to admire from a distance. Life on board is spent outside. The deck areas are laid out so that no two moments of the day need happen in the same place — a shaded lounging corner in the morning, al fresco dining on the sun deck as the light drops, and an open-air cinema once the stars are out. Aft, a swim platform with an extendable ladder puts the sea within one easy step, whether for a long swim or a quick dip between passages. Below, the design language is deliberately pared back — clean lines, calm materials, nothing shouting for attention. SATORI welcomes 10 guests across five cabins. The full-beam master suite comes with a spacious en suite bathroom and its own hammam, a rare indulgence on a yacht of this size; the four remaining cabins are each fitted with a queen-size bed. One of them can be converted into a treatment room, spa or gym, so the interior can be shaped around how you actually intend to use the week.
