BLACK DIAMOND A 37-foot Chris-Craft from 2007, based out of Puerto Vallarta — the kind of boat that suits the coast it works. Chris-Craft has been building American runabouts and cruisers for well over a century, and the name still carries a certain classicism: clean lines, a hull meant to be looked at as much as driven. Below, a single cabin; the detailed berth layout is available on request. She cruises at 8 knots with 10 knots available — an unhurried pace, and the right one here. This is a yacht for daytime along Banderas Bay, for the run down toward Los Arcos and the beaches south of town, where arriving quickly was never the point.
