The captain is on his second season aboard this very catamaran, having already sailed the same waters from Mykonos the previous season. Having scouted the spots along the way, he can shape an itinerary to suit the prevailing weather conditions.

## CAIPIRINHA — 14.70m Dufour Catamaran, 2019 Some yachts are built for the long crossing, others for the art of island-hopping. CAIPIRINHA belongs firmly to the second family: a 14.70m / 48ft sailing catamaran from Dufour, delivered in 2019 and based in Greece, where her shallow draft and twin hulls open up the anchorages that deeper monohulls have to admire from a distance. Under sail, the appeal of a catamaran of this size is straightforward — she stays level. No heeling, no bracing yourself against the cockpit coaming with a glass in hand, no rearranging the table when the breeze fills in across the Cyclades. That stability is what makes the difference on a week aboard, whether you are eating on deck at anchor or making a passage under the meltemi. ### Accommodation Four cabins, each with a double bed, accommodate eight guests. The layout is genuinely symmetrical rather than hierarchical — no one draws the short straw, which makes her a natural fit for two or three couples travelling together, or a family that wants everyone to have their own space at the end of the day. ### Life Aboard The catamaran platform gives CAIPIRINHA more usable outdoor living than any monohull of comparable length: a wide cockpit that flows directly off the saloon, generous foredeck space between the hulls, and a beam that turns the whole aft area into one continuous social space. Days aboard tend to organise themselves around it — long lunches at anchor, afternoons at the swim ladder, evenings watching the light drop behind a Greek headland. ### Crew A crew of two runs the yacht: navigation, cooking and service, discreetly handled. On a boat this size that arrangement works particularly well — you get the local knowledge of a professional skipper and meals prepared aboard, without the formality that comes with a larger crew. They know which bays empty out after five o'clock, and where to be when the wind turns. CAIPIRINHA is available for charter in Greece.
