Dufour 430 — Croatia Fresh from the yard, this Dufour 430 makes her case the moment you step aboard: low, clean, flush decks, a hull that looks ready to be worked rather than admired from the pontoon. She sails properly — responsive, well balanced, the kind of yacht that rewards a helmsman who pays attention — and she carries a genuinely well-specified inventory of top-tier optional equipment above the standard build. Below, four cabins accommodate up to ten guests. Three are fitted with a double bed; the fourth is arranged with bunk beds, which makes her a practical proposition for families or for a group of friends sharing the passage rather than a single couple. Croatia suits her well. The Dalmatian coast asks for a yacht that can cover ground between islands in an afternoon breeze and then tuck neatly into a small harbour for the night — exactly the brief a 430 answers. Long tacks down the Kornati channels, an anchorage off Hvar, an early start for Vis: the itinerary writes itself. Straightforward, quick, and new. Not much more to ask of a sailing yacht in these waters.
