Excess 11 — Greece The Excess 11 makes no attempt to blend in with the sailing crowd. Her lines are deliberately modern, her stance sporty, and the whole design brief was to step away from the conventions of the traditional sailing yacht rather than politely refine them. The result is a boat with a clear point of view — and one that shows it under sail. Cruising Greece aboard her means the kind of days the Cyclades and the Ionian were made for: a morning passage with the meltemi filling in, an afternoon anchored off a beach reachable only from the water, and dinner where the only sound is the rigging settling. Accommodation is arranged across six cabins for up to ten guests, with the detailed bed configuration available on request — a layout that suits larger family groups or two or three couples sailing together without anyone drawing the short straw. Her crew handles the sailing, the itinerary and the daily rhythm on board, leaving guests free to treat the yacht as it should be treated: as a way of moving through the Greek islands at their own pace.
