S/Y PIXIE — Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67 A Fountaine Pajot Alegria 67 drawn by Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, PIXIE belongs to a generation of sailing catamarans built around space rather than compromise. The lines are softer and deliberately asymmetrical, closer to contemporary interior design than to the utilitarian look catamarans once carried, and the volumes hold up to the promise once you step aboard. Her flybridge is the natural centre of gravity on board: broad, sheltered, sized for the whole party at once rather than for a few. Forward, the bow cockpit is arranged around its own Jacuzzi zone — a second lounging area entirely separate from the main deck, useful when some guests want the sun and others want the shade. Aft, the bathing platform sits at sea level and takes over at the end of the day, when the anchor is down and the swim ladder matters more than the sail plan. Under sail, she performs well beyond what her size and beam suggest. She handles cleanly and holds a sharp course, so passages between islands are sailed rather than motored — a real distinction for guests who want the sensation of a sailing yacht and not simply a stable platform. Accommodation — four cabins for nine guests: an owner's cabin, two cabins with a double bed, and a further cabin. Detailed bed configuration on request. Her crew handles the yacht and the service side with the discretion the format calls for, adjusting the rhythm of the day to the guests rather than the reverse. PIXIE cruises Greece through the summer season and relocates to the Red Sea, based at El Gouna, for the winter — two very different sailing grounds, both suited to a catamaran of this draft and comfort.
