Galeon 640 FLY "FGstar" — Croatia Galeon built its reputation on questioning what a flybridge yacht of this size can actually do with its volume, and the 640 FLY is where that thinking becomes most visible. Developed on the back of the 500 series, it uses a rethought internal architecture — including a two-way stair system — to free up space where other yachts of the same length simply run out of it. The result is a yacht that changes shape depending on how you want to use the day, without losing the profile Galeon is recognised for. Accommodation Four cabins sleep eight guests: two cabins with a double bed, and two with twin beds. It is a genuinely family-friendly layout, and one that works equally well for two couples chartering together with children. Life aboard The aft cockpit is the natural centre of gravity — a dining table for eight, an entertainment system with a 55" screen, and retractable sun blinds for the hours when the Adriatic light gets serious. Inside, the saloon opens up through side windows that lower, joining lounge, dining area, bar and helm into one continuous space. Forward, an electrically operated front window doubles as a doorway onto the bow deck, where two movable sofas with folding tables sit under a large sun awning. A built-in wine bar handles the rest. The upper deck is laid out for long, unhurried afternoons: a generous dining area, a proper bar, and lounging space wrapped around the helm station. Then there is beach mode. Two electrically folding balconies extend to give six metres of open terrace at water level, with a partially glazed floor section and a breakfast bar — the kind of set-up that makes a quiet anchorage in the Kornati islands feel like private waterfront. Crew and service A dedicated skipper's cabin is accessed from aft, keeping crew space distinct from guest space. Your skipper knows the Croatian coastline — which bays fill up by noon, which ones don't — and shapes the itinerary around how you actually want to spend your week. Water access The hydraulic swim platform makes launching and recovering water equipment straightforward, so swimming stops happen when someone suggests them rather than fifteen minutes later.
