SONG OF SONGS

Delivered in 2022 and cruising Thai waters, SONG OF SONGS is a 42.2m (138.5ft) motor yacht built in GRP to RINA classification and flagged in the Cayman Islands. Both her exterior lines and her interiors come from Italy's VYD Design, and the brief was clearly to dissolve the boundary between inside and out: floor-to-ceiling windows and glazed cut-outs in the bulwarks give the main deck an uninterrupted relationship with the water, whether you're anchored off a limestone island or under way. The main saloon is arranged in distinct zones — a dining room forward, then a lounge and bar area, the two separated by a large television that doubles as a divider. One deck up, the sun deck is the yacht's natural gathering place: shaded dining for twelve, lounge seating, a bar, and an aft area left deliberately open so it can serve as a party deck one evening and a quiet sundowner spot the next. Six cabins accommodate twelve guests. The owner's cabin sits on the upper deck with its own private terrace, a genuinely rare feature at this length. The five remaining cabins are each fitted with a double bed. Detailed bed configuration is available on request. Elsewhere, a jacuzzi is set into the foredeck for morning swims and sunset soaks, while aft, an air-conditioned beach club cabana offers a shaded, cooled retreat at water level — a considered detail in a tropical cruising ground. A tender garage with horizontal davits keeps the launching and recovery of watercraft quick and out of sight. Twin Caterpillar engines give a 13-knot cruise, a 19-knot top speed and a 2,000-nautical-mile range: enough autonomy for extended itineraries through Thailand's archipelagos. Her professional crew looks after the running of the yacht so that guests need only choose the next anchorage.
