Amaryllis — Lagoon 42 catamaran, Greece The Lagoon 42 is one of those hulls that makes sense the moment you step aboard: wide, stable, generous underfoot, and easy to live on for a week at a time. *Amaryllis* uses that platform the way it should be used — as a base for slow mornings at anchor in the Cyclades or the Saronic, rather than a boat you simply pass through between marinas. Accommodation is arranged across four cabins, each with a double bed, sleeping eight in comfort, with capacity for up to twelve guests aboard. Air conditioning throughout means the cabins stay genuinely liveable through a Greek August, and the onboard generator keeps power steady at anchor — no rationing of the air con or waiting on shore power to charge what you have brought with you. On a catamaran of this size, those two systems are what separate a pleasant week from a merely tolerable one. The saloon and cockpit sit on the same level, so meals, shade and conversation flow together instead of splitting the group in two. Your crew handles the sailing, the provisioning and the anchorages, shaping each day around the wind and what you actually feel like doing.
