Mathieu, founder of BellaYacht Charter

I personally support you in choosing and booking your yacht, by the day or by the week. A yacht broker since 2015, I founded BellaYacht Charter in 2019 to give access to a fleet of some of the finest units available in the Mediterranean and beyond — no unnecessary middlemen.

My commitment: a fast, personal response to every request, concrete proposals rather than a plain catalog, and support at every step — from the first contact to your return to port.

BLUE EYES — Lagoon 42, cruising Italy A 12.80m catamaran built by Lagoon in 2019, BLUE EYES belongs to a category that has quietly reshaped Mediterranean chartering: the sailing multihull, prized for its stability under way, its shallow draught and the sheer amount of usable living space it offers relative to its length. The layout accommodates six cabins for up to twelve guests, with the detailed bed configuration available on request — worth confirming early, as it shapes how a group is best arranged aboard. What a Lagoon of this generation does particularly well is blur the line between inside and out. The saloon opens directly onto the aft cockpit at the same level, so lunch drifts into an afternoon in the shade without anyone having to move far, and the trampolines forward become the natural place to be as the anchor comes up. Two hulls also mean two quiet ends of the yacht — useful on a full boat. The Italian coast suits her well. A catamaran's draught opens up anchorages a deeper-keeled yacht has to admire from a distance, and stability at anchor makes long lunches in an open bay genuinely comfortable rather than merely possible. Aboard, the crew handles navigation, meals and the daily rhythm of the itinerary, adjusting the route to the weather and to what the guests actually feel like doing — the practical advantage of a crewed charter over a bareboat, and the reason a week aboard requires nothing of you beyond deciding where to swim next.
