EVER III — Lagoon catamaran, 17.70m, 2016 Built by Lagoon in 2016, EVER III measures 17.70m (56ft) and belongs to that particular breed of cruising catamaran that trades the drama of a displacement hull for something more practical: stability at anchor, shallow draft, and deck space that would be unthinkable on a monohull of comparable length. She accommodates 8 guests across 4 cabins, with the detailed bed configuration available on request. A crew of three looks after the yacht and her guests — enough hands to keep the service attentive without ever crowding a boat of this size. Under way she cruises at 7 knots, with a top speed of 10 knots. These are catamaran numbers, and they suit the intended use: unhurried coastal passages along the French shoreline, with the boat sitting flat and the twin hulls doing the work. Her operating area is France — a coast that rewards exactly what a catamaran does best. Broad, level decks for the hours between anchorages; a draft that opens up shallow bays a deeper hull has to admire from a distance; and the simple, underrated pleasure of a yacht that stays steady when everyone is at the table.
