THE SUN — Lagoon 62ft Catamaran Launched in 2020 by Lagoon, THE SUN is an 18.90m (62ft) sailing catamaran based in Sardinia — a yacht whose appeal rests on a simple, well-proven equation: the stability and shallow draught of a multihull, and the generous deck real estate that comes with two hulls rather than one. Accommodation is arranged across 7 cabins for up to 13 guests, an unusually high capacity for this length. Detailed bed configuration is available on request, and the layout can be discussed ahead of booking to match your group. The practical advantages show themselves quickly in Sardinian waters. A catamaran of this size slips into anchorages a comparable monohull cannot reach, holds a level platform at anchor, and puts the swim platform close to the water — which matters when you are spending most of the day in and out of it. Lunch on deck, afternoons at anchor off the Costa Smeralda or the Maddalena archipelago: the rhythm sets itself. A crew of three runs the yacht, handling navigation, service and daily life aboard so that guests have nothing to organise.
