Gran Turismo 40 — Maldives A sport cruiser drawn by Nuvolari & Lenard, the Gran Turismo 40 belongs to that rare category of yachts that are as satisfying to look at as they are to drive. The lines are coherent from bow to stern, the interior volumes are intelligently laid out, and the level of finish holds up to close inspection — the kind of detail you notice on the second day aboard rather than the first. Below, two cabins accommodate four guests: one with a double bed, the second fitted with twin beds. Her natural element is the day cruise. Across the atolls, where distances between anchorages are short and the water shifts colour by the hour, a yacht of this size and character makes far more sense than a heavier displacement platform — you go where you want, when the light is right, and you are back for sunset. The crew handles the running of the day so that guests only have to decide where to swim next.
