M/Y ANDROMEDA — Posillipo 80', cruising Greece There is a particular pleasure in a Posillipo of this size: enough presence to feel serious, compact enough to slip into the small harbours the larger yachts have to admire from the anchorage. Andromeda came out of a 2024 refit with that balance intact, and with an interior that reads as calm rather than showy — a light palette, clean lines, surfaces left uncluttered. It is a restrained kind of modern, and it wears well on a long charter week in the Aegean. Accommodation is arranged over four cabins for eight guests, all on the lower deck and all with en suite facilities. An owner's cabin and a VIP cabin anchor the layout, with two further cabins fitted with twin beds. Detailed bed configuration is available on request, so a family group and a group of friends can each be accommodated sensibly rather than approximately. Where Andromeda genuinely outperforms her length is outside. The deck space is unusually generous for an 80-footer, and the sundeck — shaded end to end by a full bimini — is the part of the yacht guests tend to settle into and refuse to leave. It is the difference between hiding from the midday sun below and staying on deck all day, which in Greece in August matters more than any specification sheet suggests. A professional crew of four looks after the yacht and her guests: attentive when you want it, invisible when you don't. That ratio, on a yacht this size, is what turns a well-kept Posillipo into a properly serviced charter — meals timed to the swim rather than the clock, and someone who knows which bay will be empty at seven in the morning.
