Robertson and Caine — Leopard 39
Subject to availability
ARUN A 11.89m (39ft) sailing catamaran launched in 2013 by Robertson and Caine, ARUN belongs to a South African yard whose cruising cats have earned their reputation the honest way: through sea miles. Beamy, stable and easy underway, she is the kind of yacht that makes a day on the water feel effortless rather than eventful. Her layout holds two cabins and two bathrooms, sleeping four guests overnight, with detailed bed configuration available on request. For daytime charters she takes up to twelve — enough for a proper group without crowding the deck. Catamaran life is what defines her. The wide trampolines forward, the shaded cockpit and the level, unheeling ride make her equally suited to a long lunch at anchor and a passage between islands. Access to the water is direct and unfussy, which matters more than any specification sheet when the swimming stops start piling up. ARUN operates in Malaysia, cruising a coastline of limestone islands, sheltered bays and warm, quiet anchorages where a shallow-draft catamaran can tuck in closer than most.
