Mathieu, founder of BellaYacht Charter

I personally support you in choosing and booking your yacht, by the day or by the week. A yacht broker since 2015, I founded BellaYacht Charter in 2019 to give access to a fleet of some of the finest units available in the Mediterranean and beyond — no unnecessary middlemen.

My commitment: a fast, personal response to every request, concrete proposals rather than a plain catalog, and support at every step — from the first contact to your return to port.

## HOUBARA — Sunreef Yachts, 24 metres of sailing catamaran There is a particular kind of ease aboard a large sailing catamaran that no monohull quite replicates: the level decks, the space that opens outward rather than inward, the shallow draft that lets you anchor closer to shore than most yachts of comparable size. HOUBARA, built in 2012 by Sunreef Yachts — the Gdańsk yard that effectively created the luxury multihull charter market — makes that argument well. At 23.99 metres, with interiors also drawn by Sunreef, she completed a refit in 2026. She cruises at 9 knots and will make 18 at the top end, which in practice means unhurried coastal passages with the ability to reposition properly when the itinerary calls for it. Accommodation Three cabins host up to seven guests. The owner's cabin is complemented by a second cabin with a queen-size bed sleeping two, and a third arranged with twin beds plus an additional upper berth for three — a genuinely useful layout for families travelling with children or for groups where the sleeping arrangements need to flex. Detailed bed configuration is available on request. Life aboard A crew of three looks after the yacht and her guests: enough for attentive service and proper meals without the formality that a larger complement can impose. The atmosphere on a catamaran of this size tends toward the relaxed — long lunches in the shade of the cockpit, the aft platform a step from the water, and the whole beam of the yacht available for lounging rather than a narrow side deck. Where she sails Based in Olbia, Sardinia, HOUBARA is well placed for the Costa Smeralda and the Maddalena archipelago, and ranges through the French Riviera, Corsica, Naples and the Amalfi Coast, Sicily, Tuscany and Elba, and the stretch from Marseille to Saint-Tropez. In winter she crosses to the Caribbean: the British Virgin Islands, the Grenadines, Antigua and Barbuda, Martinique and Guadeloupe, Saint Martin and Saint Barths — cruising grounds where a catamaran's draft and stability are advantages rather than compromises.
