Mathieu, founder of BellaYacht Charter

I personally support you in choosing and booking your yacht, by the day or by the week. A yacht broker since 2015, I founded BellaYacht Charter in 2019 to give access to a fleet of some of the finest units available in the Mediterranean and beyond — no unnecessary middlemen.

My commitment: a fast, personal response to every request, concrete proposals rather than a plain catalog, and support at every step — from the first contact to your return to port.

MAIA is a 16.80m (55ft) sailing catamaran delivered in 2024 by Bali Catamarans, a yard whose multihulls have earned their following for a simple reason: they turn volume into genuine living space rather than just numbers on a spec sheet. Two years into her life, she remains a young yacht in every sense — fresh finishes, current systems, and none of the compromises that come with age. Her cruising ground is the Tyrrhenian: Naples and the Amalfi coast, the Aeolian islands, Sicily. Territory where a catamaran earns its keep — shallow draught for the anchorages the larger yachts have to admire from a distance, stability at rest that makes lunch on board feel like lunch ashore. Accommodation is arranged over four en-suite cabins for eight guests. The largest is fitted with a king-size bed, the three others with double beds, each with its own bathroom facilities. It is a layout that works as well for two families as for a group of couples — nobody negotiating over who gets the good cabin. A crew of three looks after the yacht and her guests: navigation, cooking, and the quiet logistics that keep a week at sea feeling effortless. On a yacht of this size, that ratio means attention without intrusion, and the flexibility to shape each day around what the weather and the mood suggest rather than a fixed itinerary.
