ELENA — 16.80m Catana catamaran, 2020 There is a particular rhythm to cruising the Tyrrhenian on a sailing catamaran: the wide, level decks, the quiet at anchor, the sense of being close to the water rather than above it. ELENA, launched in 2020 by Catana — a French yard with a long-standing reputation in performance multihulls — was built for exactly that. At 16.80 metres, she accommodates eight guests across four cabins. The largest is fitted with a king-size bed; the three others each have a double bed. All four have en-suite bathroom facilities, which on a yacht of this size is a genuine comfort rather than a given — it means four couples aboard without compromise, or a family spread out with real privacy between them. A crew of three looks after the yacht and its guests: sailing, service and galley, discreetly handled so the day unfolds at your pace. The catamaran platform earns its keep here — generous shaded cockpit and saloon space, a flat trampoline forward for the long afternoons, and shallow draft that opens up anchorages a monohull of similar length would have to pass by. Her cruising ground runs from Naples down to Sicily: Capri and the Amalfi Coast, Ischia and Procida, then the Aeolian archipelago — Panarea, Salina, Stromboli at dusk. Island-hopping distances that suit a week aboard, with the stability of two hulls for the crossings in between.
A selection in the same zone, with a comparable profile.
