Mathieu, founder of BellaYacht Charter

I personally support you in choosing and booking your yacht, by the day or by the week. A yacht broker since 2015, I founded BellaYacht Charter in 2019 to give access to a fleet of some of the finest units available in the Mediterranean and beyond — no unnecessary middlemen.

My commitment: a fast, personal response to every request, concrete proposals rather than a plain catalog, and support at every step — from the first contact to your return to port.

Solon — Beneteau Oceanis 46.1 Launched in 2022 and based at Alimos Marina, just south of Athens, Solon is a four-cabin cruising yacht from one of Beneteau's most widely sailed lines — the Oceanis 46.1, a hull known for being genuinely easy underway rather than merely fast on paper. She accommodates nine guests across four cabins, with detailed bed configuration available on request. Four heads and a shower serve the interior, so mornings never turn into a queue. Bed linen, pillows and blankets are provided. The layout is straightforward in the best sense: a bright saloon that stays usable in the middle of a hot Aegean afternoon, and a fully equipped galley with oven, cooker, sink and a complete set of utensils — enough to cook properly on board rather than settle for whatever the nearest taverna happens to serve. Practically, she is well specified for Greek summer sailing. Heating and air conditioning handle both shoulder seasons and August, solar panels and a generator keep the domestic side running independently, and the bimini gives real shade in the cockpit. An in-mast furling mainsail and a bow thruster make sail handling and Med mooring far less demanding than the yacht's size suggests. An audio system with interior and exterior speakers carries through the cockpit and below deck. From Alimos, the Saronic islands lie within easy reach of a first afternoon, with the Cyclades opening up beyond — a natural cruising ground for a yacht of this size and configuration.
