LA BELLA VITA — 47m Luxury Gulet, Turkey Formerly known as CARPE DIEM IV, LA BELLA VITA earned her reputation among the best-known gulets on the Turkish coast — a name charterers still recognise, and a hull that has been kept in genuinely mint condition. At 47 metres (154ft), she sits at the upper end of the gulet world, with the beam and deck space that only real length can give you: room to spread out under sail, room to disappear when you want to. A refit completed in 2023 brought her back up to standard throughout. Accommodation is arranged over six cabins for twelve guests. Two owner's cabins anchor the layout, followed by two cabins with a double bed each, one cabin with twin beds, and a further guest cabin. Detailed bed configuration is available on request, and the boat is often booked by two or three families or a group of couples travelling together — the split between the owner's cabins and the remaining accommodation works well for that. Seven crew look after the yacht and her guests. On a gulet of this size, that ratio is what makes the difference between a boat you sail on and a boat you're properly hosted aboard: cooking, deck service, tenders and shore logistics all handled without you having to organise anything. Charters generally run on a weekly rotation, with boarding at 5pm and disembarkation at 10am, though there is some flexibility depending on the booking calendar and the length of the charter. Her cruising ground is Turkey — the bays of the Gulf of Gökova, the anchorages along the Lycian coast, the kind of water where a large gulet is simply the right tool for the job.
