## CARPE DIEM V — 47m Gulet At 47 metres, CARPE DIEM V sits at the upper end of what the Turkish gulet tradition produces. Built in 2012 by Carpe Diem Yachting and refitted in 2022, she is a large-volume sailing yacht conceived for the coastline she works: the bays, ruins and pine-backed anchorages of the Turkish Riviera, where a shallow-draught gulet reaches places a deep-keeled motor yacht simply cannot. Accommodation is arranged across six guest cabins for twelve guests — four with a double bed, two with twin beds. It is a configuration that suits the way this yacht is actually chartered: two or three families sharing the same water, or a group of friends who want their own space at the end of the day without splitting across two boats. Her scale is what changes the experience. A hull of this length carries deck space in a way smaller gulets cannot, and on this coast the deck is where the week is spent — long lunches in the shade, afternoons at anchor, dinners served under the rigging as the light drops behind the headland. A crew of seven runs her, which on a yacht this size means genuine attention rather than a skeleton team stretched thin: proper service at table, cabins turned over discreetly, and a captain who knows which bay to take at which hour. She cruises at 11 knots, comfortably enough to link the classic Bodrum–Göcek itineraries without ever feeling rushed.
A selection in the same zone, with a comparable profile.
