CARPEDIEM CORAL

Launched in 2021 by Carpe Diem Yachts, CARPEDIEM CORAL is a 24-metre gulet built for the coastline she calls home: the bays and inlets of Turkey, where a shallow-drafted, generously beamed hull earns its keep. Timber construction, contemporary detailing — the gulet formula, handled with a builder's eye rather than nostalgia. Accommodation is arranged over four cabins for eight guests, each with its own en-suite. There is an owner's cabin, a VIP cabin, a cabin with a double bed, and a cabin with twin beds — a layout that works equally well for a family group or two couples travelling together. Detailed bed configuration is available on request. Under way she cruises at 10 knots, with 12 knots available when the itinerary calls for it. On this coast, though, the pace tends to set itself: a morning passage between anchorages, then the rest of the day given over to the water. A crew of four runs the yacht — deck, galley and service — with the discretion that makes a week aboard feel unhurried rather than choreographed. Meals are prepared and served on board, and the day's plan shifts easily with the weather and the wishes of the moment.
