Nova — Lagoon 620 catamaran, Greek Islands The flagship of Lagoon's cruising range, Nova was drawn by Marc Van Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prévost — the VPLP office whose signature is written across three decades of serious multihull design — and built at CNB, the Bordeaux yard within Groupe Bénéteau. Launched in 2010/2011 and refitted in 2020, she offers exactly what a 62-foot catamaran does best in the Aegean: shallow-draft access to anchorages a monohull of similar volume would have to admire from a distance, and a platform that stays level while you eat, sleep and read. Accommodation is arranged across four cabins for eight guests. The owner's cabin is complemented by two cabins with a double bed each and one cabin fitted with twin beds. Detailed bed configuration is available on request. Her interior sets Nova apart from the standard-issue charter catamaran: original works by well-known artists hang throughout, giving the saloon and passageways a genuine sense of curation rather than showroom finish. The wide-body layout typical of this design means the main deck saloon and the cockpit read as a single living space, doors open, breeze crossing through — the natural centre of gravity for long lunches and slow evenings at anchor. Cuisine is a real strength aboard. The galley is run by an award-winning chef, which in practice means menus built around what the islands offer that week rather than a fixed rotation. The captain and crew are seasoned in Greek waters and know which bays to hold and which to leave before the meltemi fills in — the kind of local judgement that shapes a good itinerary more than any brochure route.
