## S/Y ASTORIA — Greece Some sailing yachts ask you to choose between the sociability of a motor yacht and the pleasure of being under sail. ASTORIA doesn't. Her flybridge is the largest in her category — 30 square metres of upper deck given over to lounging, dining and watching the Aegean slide past — and it sets the tone for everything below it. The layout has clearly been thought through by people who understand how a week aboard actually unfolds. A 27.5 m² cockpit handles long lunches and late evenings without anyone having to shuffle past anyone. Forward, the foredeck is arranged with modular sunbathing stations, so it can be reconfigured for a couple of sunbathers or a full group. The galley-up configuration keeps the main saloon open and generous, with direct access both aft and forward — a small detail on paper, a significant one in practice, because it lets the interior breathe and lets guests move freely rather than funnel through a single companionway. Below, accommodation is arranged across five cabins for ten guests: an owner's cabin, plus four cabins each with a queen-size bed. All are served by private bathroom facilities. Detailed bed configuration is available on request. What ASTORIA does particularly well is scale. She's spacious enough for a lively group and quiet enough that you can find a corner to yourself — the foredeck at anchor, the flybridge before anyone else is awake. That balance of openness and privacy is harder to achieve on a sailing yacht than most brochures admit, and it's the reason she works equally well for a family charter and for friends who've chartered together for years. Her crew handles the navigation, the service and the daily rhythm of the itinerary, leaving the Greek islands to be enjoyed rather than organised.
