M/S ARKTOS — 42m (137ft) classic schooner motor sailer, Greece Two masts, more than 840m² of sail: ARKTOS belongs to a lineage of working sail rather than to any current fashion. Under canvas she settles into a long, steady heel and holds it — the kind of motion that turns a crossing between Greek islands into the point of the day rather than the interval between anchorages. Behind that traditional silhouette sits a full suite of modern navigation electronics and high-speed internet, so the romance never costs you the practicalities. A refit completed in 2025 has kept her interior current without diluting her character. Refined wood accents and soft olive tones give the volumes warmth; the effect is settled and lived-in rather than staged. Accommodation is arranged over five cabins for eleven guests, each with en suite facilities. The owner's cabin occupies the full beam, with walk-in closet, desk and mini-fridge. Two VIP cabins follow, plus two cabins fitted with twin beds. Every stateroom carries a Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, mini-fridge and safe. Detailed bed configuration available on request. Life aboard is naturally drawn outdoors. The aft deck is the yacht's centre of gravity — generous enough to lounge, dine and keep the group together without anyone feeling crowded — while the fore deck offers sunbeds and an uninterrupted horizon. Inside, the salon is an inviting retreat with plush seating, a writing desk and a bar lounge, useful when the meltemi picks up or the afternoon calls for shade. A selection of water toys and sports equipment is carried, and the crew builds each itinerary around how the charter party actually wants to spend its days.
