THE PEDDLER — 26.31m (86ft), 2019 A custom-built motor yacht delivered in 2019, THE PEDDLER runs at 86 feet with the balance of proportions that only a one-off build tends to achieve: enough volume for eight guests to spread out, little enough draft on the schedule to keep the days flexible. Accommodation is arranged across four en-suite cabins. The owner's cabin is fitted with a king-size bed, followed by two cabins with queen-size beds and a fourth with twin beds — each with its own bathroom. It is a layout that works as well for two couples travelling together as for a family group, without anyone drawing the short straw. She cruises comfortably at 12 knots and will hold 22 when the itinerary calls for it — useful margin in the Virgin Islands, where the difference between arriving at a mooring first and arriving third is often a matter of an hour. A crew of four looks after four cabins, a ratio that shows in the details rather than in the announcements: the day is shaped around how you actually want to use it, not around a fixed service script. Her winter season is spent in the Caribbean Virgin Islands, US and British — the Sir Francis Drake Channel, the short hops between anchorages, the kind of cruising ground where an 86-footer is exactly the right size.
