DVI MARIJE — 24m / 79ft Gulet, Turkey Twenty-four metres of traditional Turkish gulet, launched in 2004 and brought up to date by a refit completed in 2019. She works the coast she was built for: the bays of the Turkish Riviera, where the wooden hull and broad beam of a gulet make more sense than any other type of yacht — shallow enough to tuck into a quiet inlet, generous enough on deck to spend the entire day outside. Five cabins accommodate twelve guests. The layout is led by an owner's cabin, with two further cabins fitted with a double bed, each sleeping two, and two additional guest cabins. Detailed bed configuration is available on request. Life aboard a gulet is life on deck, and the format is well understood here: long shaded stretches for lunch that runs into the afternoon, sun mattresses forward, the aft deck as the natural gathering point once the anchor is down. Distances between anchorages are short, so days tend to settle into a rhythm of swim, eat, move on, swim again. A crew of four runs the yacht — deck, galley and service — sized to look after twelve guests without ever crowding the interior. Charters operate on a Saturday rotation, with embarkation at 17:00 and disembarkation at 09:00.
