HIGH FIVE — Fountaine Pajot Sanya 57, cruising Greece A Fountaine Pajot Sanya 57 is a lot of catamaran: the beam of a fifty-seven-foot multihull buys living space that no monohull of comparable length can offer, and HIGH FIVE uses every metre of it. Contemporary in design, uncluttered in execution, and freshly refitted in 2025, she is a sailing yacht built around the way people actually spend their days at anchor in the Cyclades or the Ionian. Accommodation is arranged in five cabins for up to ten guests, each with a double bed and its own bathroom. One is laid out as a suite, with a lounge area, a desk and a generously proportioned bathroom. All are air-conditioned and fitted with television, DVD and stereo, and all sit well apart in the hulls — the kind of separation that makes a full-boat charter with two or three families genuinely workable. The salon is the calm centre of the yacht: soft tones, seating that adapts to the moment, and panoramic glazing that keeps you in touch with the anchorage even when you have retreated from the sun. Most days, though, gravitate aft. The cockpit is where lunch runs long, where the aperitif appears at golden hour, and where the smell of whatever the chef has decided to do with the morning's market run reaches you well before the plates do. Bring back something on a line and it can be on the table the same evening. Forward, the foredeck is given over to sun mattresses and the trampolines — the best seat aboard when dolphins decide to join the passage. The flybridge is the sunset station, glass in hand, horizon uninterrupted. A crew of three runs the yacht, cooks, and knows these islands well enough to steer you toward the bays worth the detour rather than the ones everyone photographs. For the active hours in between, the toy locker covers water skis, kayaks, paddleboard, wakeboard, kneeboard, towable tubes and snorkelling gear.
