HIGH JINKS — Fountaine Pajot Sanya 57 · Greece Fountaine Pajot's Sanya 57 is one of those sailing catamarans that makes the case for multihull chartering without saying a word: contemporary lines, generous beam, and living space distributed horizontally rather than stacked. HIGH JINKS is a well-kept example of the type, based in Greece and equally at home threading the Cyclades or working the greener, quieter coastlines of the Ionian. She sleeps eight guests in four cabins. The owner's cabin is arranged as a private suite, with its own lounge area, a desk and a designer bathroom — the kind of layout that lets one couple genuinely settle in for a fortnight rather than simply pass through. Three further cabins each have a double bed, and all cabins are en suite, air-conditioned, and fitted with TV, DVD and integrated stereo. Detailed bed configuration on request. Life aboard organises itself naturally around the aft deck, where the dining table sits in the shade and most days seem to begin and end. Inside, the salon is done in soft tones with flexible seating and panoramic glazing — shelter from the midday sun without losing the horizon. Forward, sun mattresses and the trampoline offer the best seats on the yacht for the passage between islands. The flybridge comes into its own at the end of the day, when the anchorage settles and a chilled glass makes more sense up there than anywhere else. A crew of three runs her, chef included — which in practice means breakfast served where you want it, provisioning tuned to your preferences, and a morning fishing catch on the lunch table the same day. Her crew also know these waters, and the difference between a good anchorage and the right one for that particular afternoon's wind.
