DREAM ON — 29.57m (97ft) Hargrave, 2006, refitted 2023 American-built and American-cruised, DREAM ON belongs to a lineage of Hargrave motor yachts designed around one idea: generous interior volume for their length, without the fuss. Her interior is the work of Yacht Interiors by Shelley, and a refit completed in 2023 has kept her presentation current. Five cabins accommodate ten guests. The owner's cabin and a VIP cabin anchor the layout, with three further cabins each fitted with a queen-size bed — a configuration that works as well for two families sharing as for a group of couples. A crew of four looks after the yacht and its guests: attentive without hovering, and experienced in the rhythm of a charter week where the itinerary changes at breakfast. She cruises comfortably at 13 knots with 19 knots in reserve — enough to cross to a different island for lunch rather than talk about it. Her natural ground is the stretch between Florida's east coast and the Bahamas: a run down the Intracoastal, then the shift in water colour somewhere past Bimini that tells you the trip has properly started. Long, shallow anchorages, sandbars that appear at low tide, and evenings on deck with the tender still warm from the afternoon.
