PILOT LOUNGE — Charter in Florida and the Bahamas Based between the Palm Beaches and the Bahamas, PILOT LOUNGE is built for the kind of programme that shifts easily from a long lunch at anchor to a crossing towards the out islands. Zero-speed stabilisers are the detail that makes the difference here: they steady the yacht not only under way but also at rest, which is precisely when a Bahamian anchorage tends to test the patience of a guest lying on a sun pad. Her interior was refreshed in a refit completed in 2024 and is kept to a genuinely high standard. Accommodation is arranged over four cabins for eight guests: an owner's cabin, a VIP cabin, and two further cabins fitted with twin beds. Detailed bed configuration is available on request. The onboard rhythm suits both a relaxed day cruise from the Florida coast and a week spent exploring the Bahamas — clear water, short hops, and a yacht equipped to make the most of both. A full selection of water toys is carried for the days when nobody wants to come back aboard. The crew is experienced and unhurried in the best sense, used to shaping the itinerary and the daily routine around what guests actually want rather than a fixed script. Preferences shared before departure — food, timings, activities — are what the week is built on.
Florida and Bahamas expertise
The crew knows these cruising grounds intimately, with coastline experience running from the Northeast down through South Florida to Andros Island. Several members have lived, travelled and worked along Florida's east coast and throughout the Bahamas, including Nassau, the Exumas, the Berry Islands and Grand Bahama.
