## FENIDES — 41m / 135ft Some yachts are drawn on screens. FENIDES was shaped by hand, on a beach in Sulawesi. Launched in 2019, this 41-metre sailing superyacht was built by Kammisi at Bonto in collaboration with the Konjo boat builders of Ara — the shipwrights whose craft has carried Indonesian sail for generations. That lineage is the whole point: timber, rig and proportion come from a working tradition, adapted here to the standards expected of a modern charter yacht. Her cruising ground is Indonesia, and she is built for the pace of it. Nine knots under way, ten at the top end — numbers that tell you exactly what this yacht is for. Not passages measured against the clock, but Komodo, Raja Ampat and the Banda Sea taken at the speed the archipelago deserves. Five cabins accommodate eleven guests. The owner's cabin is joined by two cabins with a double bed and two cabins with twin beds — a layout that reads equally well for a family group or a diving-minded party of friends. Detailed bed configuration is available on request. Eleven crew serve eleven guests. That ratio is worth pausing on: it is unusual even at this size, and it changes the texture of a week aboard. Service becomes anticipatory rather than reactive, and the logistics of remote cruising — provisioning, tenders, shore excursions in places with no infrastructure — are absorbed quietly, before you notice them.
