Kaptan Sevket — 29m traditional Turkish gulet, Montenegro There is a particular pleasure in sailing the Adriatic aboard a yacht built the old way. Kaptan Sevket is a 29-metre Turkish gulet in the classic tradition — timber, generous beam, low broad decks — and she cruises the Montenegrin coast with the unhurried rhythm that only this type of yacht delivers. A refit completed in 2023 keeps her presentation current without diluting what she is. Her record speaks for her build quality. Kaptan Sevket has raced in multiple editions of the Bodrum Regatta and won, which says something about how she is rigged, trimmed and sailed. In 2024 she hosted GQ for an interview with Novak Djokovic — the kind of setting chosen for its character rather than its square footage. Below, six en-suite cabins accommodate twelve guests: four with a double bed, two fitted with twin beds. It is a straightforward, well-balanced layout that suits a family taking the whole yacht, or two or three couples travelling together without anyone drawing the short straw. Life on board happens outside. The deck areas are wide and uncluttered, with sun loungers forward and a shaded dining table aft — the natural gathering point at the end of a day spent anchored off Sveti Stefan or working up the Bay of Kotor. Meals stretch out. Nobody is in a hurry to go anywhere. A crew of four runs the yacht. The captain knows this coastline and its anchorages properly, which matters more here than almost anywhere in the Mediterranean, and the chef works in a Mediterranean register — fresh, seasonal, generous rather than fussy. Service is attentive and quietly judged: present when you want it, invisible when you don't. A genuine gulet, sailed well, in one of the Adriatic's finest cruising grounds.

I personally support you in choosing and booking your yacht, by the day or by the week. A yacht broker since 2015, I founded BellaYacht Charter in 2019 to give access to a fleet of some of the finest units available in the Mediterranean and beyond — no unnecessary middlemen.
My commitment: a fast, personal response to every request, concrete proposals rather than a plain catalog, and support at every step — from the first contact to your return to port.
