Mathieu, founder of BellaYacht Charter

I personally support you in choosing and booking your yacht, by the day or by the week. A yacht broker since 2015, I founded BellaYacht Charter in 2019 to give access to a fleet of some of the finest units available in the Mediterranean and beyond — no unnecessary middlemen.

My commitment: a fast, personal response to every request, concrete proposals rather than a plain catalog, and support at every step — from the first contact to your return to port.

Lagoon 42 — Greece A catamaran built around a genuinely useful idea: getting on board should be effortless. From the aft platform through to the salon, everything sits on a single level — a structural shift that few boats of this size manage, and one you appreciate every time you step aboard with wet feet or a full tray. The staircases at the transom give an unusual perspective on the yacht, and the platform itself is broad and welcoming, closer in feel to Lagoon's larger models than to a 42-footer. Inside, a wide glass door opens the salon to the cockpit and floods the interior with light. The ergonomics have been worked through carefully throughout, so the volume actually serves daily life on board rather than simply existing. Accommodation is arranged over four cabins, each with a double bed. The yacht welcomes up to 12 guests. Under sail, the layout is the point. The mast has been moved further aft and paired with a self-tacking jib — performance is preserved, but handling becomes markedly simpler, with manoeuvres centralised in one place and the deck left uncluttered. The helm station sits at the coachroof bulkhead, which keeps the conversation flowing naturally between cockpit and salon and gives direct access to the coachroof and the boom. A composite Bimini with sliding panels lets you keep an eye on the sails, and a closure panel protects the helm position when conditions ask for it. Cruising the Greek islands, the crew handles the sailing and the service, leaving you the anchorages, the swims and the long lunches on deck.
