AURORA Refitted in 2023 and cruising Australian waters through 2026 — Port Douglas, the Whitsundays and Sydney — AURORA is built around a simple idea: give guests more places to be than they have hours in the day. Life on deck Three deck levels, three distinct dining settings. The main deck opens fore and aft, with generous exterior space at both ends, while a pair of stairs from the aft deck leads down to the hydraulic swim platform and up to the flybridge. The flybridge is the yacht's social centre. A full bar with gourmet grill and fridge sits alongside a dining table seating ten between banquette and chairs, with a large sunpad, a separate shaded daybed, and forward seating beside the captain for those who like to watch the passage unfold. Come nightfall, a projector and large screen turn the same space into open-air cinema — watched from a daybed or a beanbag, depending on the mood. One level down, the aft deck carries its own bar and a teak table for eight: the natural setting for breakfast, long brunches and lunch at anchor. The 2.3-metre hydraulic swim platform earns its keep twice over. By day it is the launch point for watersports or a quiet spell of fishing; by night it becomes a table for two at the waterline, or the place to take sundowners. Forward, the bow holds the sun all afternoon — a large sunpad and additional seating, well suited to a cheese platter as the light goes. Interior The air-conditioned main saloon seats eight in comfort, with panoramic windows drawing in the late golden light. Bespoke cherrywood cabinetry conceals a pop-up satellite TV, surround-sound system and a well-stocked bar. The dining table seats eight and faces the fully equipped galley, which can be closed behind an electrically operated mirrored screen or left open for guests who prefer to talk to the chef while they work. Forward of the saloon, the wheelhouse welcomes guests with banquette seating for four and two helm chairs — the right place to plan the following day's itinerary with the captain. A powder room off the wheelhouse serves the main deck. Accommodation Four cabins accommodate eight guests: an owner's cabin, a VIP cabin, a further cabin with a double bed, and a fourth with twin beds. Detailed bed configuration on request. Crew A professional crew runs the yacht year-round, from the galley to the tender, with the discretion that makes a week aboard feel unhurried.
