AURORA — Whitsundays, Airlie Beach | 2026–2027 seasons AURORA is built around a simple idea: time spent outdoors, in the water, and at the table. In the Whitsundays, that is exactly the right brief — and this is a yacht whose layout has clearly been shaped by owners who actually use it. Accommodation Four cabins host eight guests: an owner's cabin, a VIP cabin, a further cabin with a double bed and a fourth with twin beds. Detailed bed configuration available on request. Main deck The air-conditioned main saloon seats eight in comfort, with panoramic glazing that fills the room with late-afternoon light. The bespoke cherrywood joinery is the detail worth noting here — it conceals a pop-up satellite television, the surround-sound system and a well-stocked bar, so the space reads as a lounge rather than a showroom. The dining table, also for eight, sits opposite a fully equipped galley that can be screened off behind an electrically operated mirrored panel or left open, depending on whether guests want to watch the chef work or simply enjoy the result. Forward, the wheelhouse has banquette seating for four alongside two helm chairs — in practice, the place where the following day's itinerary gets decided, chart in hand. A powder room off the wheelhouse serves the main deck. Outdoor living Three deck areas and three distinct dining areas give real choice throughout the day. The aft deck, with its full bar and teak table for eight, is the natural setting for breakfast, long lunches and anything unhurried. One flight down is the 2.3-metre hydraulic swim platform: a working launch pad for watersports or a line over the side by day, and after dark an unusually private spot for dinner for two or sundowners at water level. Up top, the flybridge is the social heart of the yacht. There is a bar with a gourmet grill and fridge, a dining table seating ten between banquette and chairs, a large sunpad, a shaded daybed and forward seating beside the captain for the run between anchorages. A projector and large screen turn the same space into open-air cinema after sunset — daybeds or beanbags, as you prefer. Forward, the bow holds the sun all day: a generous sunpad and additional seating, ideally placed for a cheese platter as the light drops over the islands. Service AURORA is offered fully crewed, with a chef on board and a captain accustomed to reading the Whitsundays day by day — tides, weather and which bay will be empty when you arrive.
