# YCM FIFTY ## An Oceanfast pedigree, brought current At 50.29 metres, YCM FIFTY carries the unmistakable signature of Oceanfast — the Australian yard that built its reputation on fast, purposeful aluminium superyachts. Launched in 1989 and known previously as High Occupancy, she completed a refit in 2024 that brings her interiors and systems into line with what today's charter guests expect, without diluting the character of a hull conceived when performance still dictated the shape of a superyacht. That performance remains part of the story. She cruises comfortably at 12 knots and has a top speed of 30 — a genuine turn of pace at this length, and one that changes how a week aboard actually unfolds. A crossing that would otherwise eat half a day becomes a morning passage, which means more anchorages, more flexibility, and less time spent watching the coastline go by. ## Accommodation Twelve guests are accommodated across six cabins, each with its own en-suite facilities. Three offer a king-size bed, three a queen-size — an unusually balanced layout that avoids the familiar hierarchy of one grand suite and a series of lesser rooms. For families travelling together, or two or three couples sharing a charter, it removes the awkward conversation about who takes which cabin. ## Life aboard A crew of nine looks after twelve guests — a ratio that translates directly into how the days feel. Service is attentive without hovering, the galley works around your appetites rather than a fixed schedule, and the deck team is ready when you decide, at breakfast, that today is the day for a long run down the coast. ## Cruising grounds Summers are spent between Naples and Sicily, the French and Italian Rivieras, Corsica and Sardinia, and the Spanish coast and Balearics — with French Polynesia also within her programme. Winters take her to the Caribbean: the US and British Virgin Islands, the Bahamas, and both the Leeward and Windward chains.
A selection in the same zone, with a comparable profile.
