AHAVA makes her case quietly, through the quality of what surrounds you. The interiors are lined in fine walnut panelling, furnished with designer pieces, and hung with works by Alex Katz, Julian Opie and Christopher Kieling — a genuine collection rather than decoration, and one that gives the contemporary architecture of the yacht real character. Few charter yachts of this calibre invite you to look up from your book and study the wall. Accommodation is arranged over four cabins for eight guests. The owner's cabin is the calm heart of the yacht: a king-size bed, a spa-inspired en-suite bathroom and a private hammam — an amenity almost never found in this size range, and one that changes the rhythm of a cruising day. Two VIP cabins follow, with a fourth cabin fitted with twin beds and an additional upper berth, sleeping three. Detailed bed configuration on request. The main saloon is generously proportioned and reads as two spaces in one: a refined dining area on one side, an inviting lounge with panoramic glazing on the other, and a proper barista station in between — a small detail that says a good deal about how this yacht is run. Outside, the flybridge is the natural gathering point, with custom dining tables, a bar for sunset drinks and a hammock chair for the hours when nothing needs to happen. The aft deck offers elegant seating and ample room for alfresco meals and long evenings at anchor. Cinema works both ways aboard: films in the air-conditioned comfort of the saloon, or on deck under the stars after dinner. Watersports equipment and e-bikes are on board for exploring ashore. The crew are experienced in both of AHAVA's seasons — Corsica, Sardinia, the French Riviera and Monaco through the summer, the British Virgin Islands and the Leeward and Windward Islands in winter — and know how to keep a yacht of this standard feeling relaxed rather than formal.
