Kayachtic — BALI 5.4 Flagship of the BALI range, the 5.4 built its reputation on a simple structural idea: open up the volumes rather than partition them. The result on this 54-foot catamaran is more than 126 m² of genuinely usable living space — a figure you would not expect at this length, and one you feel the moment the cockpit and saloon merge into a single horizontal deck at anchor. Kayachtic is a particularly well-appointed example of the model. The finish level and the fittings throughout the interior go beyond what the platform is usually delivered with, and it shows in the details rather than in the brochure. Accommodation is arranged over five cabins for up to nine guests: four cabins with queen-size beds, plus a fifth with a single bed — useful for a child, a nanny or a ninth friend who joined late. The technical choice that guests remember, though, concerns the nights. A full lithium battery bank and dedicated inverters run the air conditioning without the generator, so the cabins stay cool and genuinely quiet until morning — a detail that solves one of the most common irritations of catamaran chartering. A crew of two runs the yacht: cooking, service, itinerary and shore logistics handled with the ease that only comes from seasons of repetition. Their style is attentive without being formal, and guests tend to leave on first-name terms. Kayachtic cruises the US and British Virgin Islands in season, with the Leewards and Windwards within comfortable reach for those who want to keep moving south.
