WHISKEY SUNSET came out of the Bali Catamarans yard in 2025 — a 16.76m / 55ft sailing catamaran built for exactly the kind of cruising the Caribbean rewards: shallow anchorages, short hops between islands, and long hours spent on deck rather than under way. The layout gives each couple aboard genuine independence. Four cabins, each with a queen-size bed and its own en-suite, accommodate eight guests without anyone drawing the short straw — a symmetry catamarans achieve far more convincingly than a monohull of comparable length. What defines life aboard is the platform itself. The beam of a 55ft catamaran translates directly into living space: a cockpit and saloon that flow into one another, wide side decks, and the stability that lets you eat, read or sleep at anchor without the roll. She cruises at 8 knots and will make 15 when conditions and schedule call for it, which is ample for island-hopping through the Leewards or working your way along the chain of anchorages in the British Virgin Islands. A crew of two runs the yacht — captain and chef/hostess in practice, the classic pairing on a catamaran this size.
