## A Phinisi Built for the Indonesian Archipelago Some yachts are designed to travel anywhere. This one belongs to a specific sea. Built in the phinisi tradition — the timber-hulled sailing craft that has carried Indonesian trade for generations — she carries that heritage in her lines while the interior answers to contemporary expectations: finished cabins, generous deck space, and a galley that takes its work seriously. Accommodation for eighteen Nine cabins sleep up to eighteen guests, an unusually deep capacity that opens the yacht to extended families, dive groups travelling together, or two or three parties chartering as one. The owner's cabin sits at the top of the arrangement, with two further cabins and six additional cabins completing the layout. Detailed bed configurations are available on request, and the interior is best matched to your group before booking rather than assumed. Life on deck Days aboard settle into their own rhythm. The sun deck is where most of the yacht's hours are spent — open to the horizon, uninterrupted by the compressed sightlines of a smaller vessel. Meals are prepared by experienced chefs working with produce sourced locally along the route, which in this part of the world means fish landed the same morning and whatever the islands have to offer. Dining is unhurried and takes place wherever the light is best. Two seasons, two archipelagos The itinerary follows the Indonesian year. Summer is based out of Labuan Bajo in Komodo National Park, with cruising through Bali, Lombok, Sumbawa, Sumba, Flores, Alor and Timor. Winter moves east to Sorong and Raja Ampat, opening Ambon, Banda, Halmahera, Ternate, West Papua, Kaimana, Biak and Wakatobi. What that gives you is access to two of the richest marine environments on the planet within a single charter programme. Raja Ampat's coral biodiversity is genuinely without equal; Komodo delivers manta aggregations and the dragons themselves, encountered on their own ground. Between the dive sites there are unnamed coves, empty beaches and interior treks that never appear on a schedule. Crew The permanent crew knows these waters as working knowledge rather than chart study — where the current turns, which anchorage holds in a shifting wind, when to move. Service is attentive without hovering, which is the correct register for a yacht of this kind. Signature itineraries are available on request.
