ANGELO II — 35m sailing yacht, Aegean At 35 metres under sail, ANGELO II belongs to a category that has largely disappeared from the charter market: a large, custom-built sailing yacht with genuine capacity, cruising the Turkish coast and the Aegean with a permanent crew of five. She was built in 2003 at Tuzla Shipyard and refitted in 2016. Her accommodation is unusually generous for a sailing yacht of this size — seven cabins for fourteen guests, comprising an owner's cabin, four cabins with a double bed and two cabins with twin beds. Detailed bed configuration is available on request. In practice, this is a layout that suits two or three families travelling together, or a group that would otherwise have to split across two boats. Under power she cruises at 10 knots, with a top speed of 14 — the right pace for the Aegean, where the distances between anchorages are short and the pleasure lies in arriving early enough to have the bay to yourself. The Gulf of Gökova, the Datça peninsula, the Dodecanese: this is water made for a yacht that can sail properly and still put fourteen people to bed comfortably.
