BELLA MARE — 38m gulet, Turkish Aegean Built in 2008 and refitted in 2015, Bella Mare belongs to the classic gulet tradition that has shaped Turkish cruising for generations: generous beam, long teak decks, and a rig that still earns its keep. Her 38 metres put her among the larger gulets working the coast between Bodrum, Göcek, Marmaris and Fethiye — the stretch of shoreline where pine forests run down to water that shifts from turquoise to deep blue within the same bay. Accommodation Six cabins host twelve guests: two owner's cabins and four cabins with a double bed. Each has its own shower, WC and independent air conditioning. Life on board Bella Mare is organised around two distinct dining areas — one on deck under the shade, one in the air-conditioned saloon — which gives real flexibility as the day and the temperature move. The American bar anchors the social side of the yacht, and the sunbathing areas forward and aft are sized for the full complement of twelve without anyone having to negotiate for space. A fully equipped galley supports the onboard cooking, and separate crew quarters keep service discreet and the guest areas genuinely private. For the slower hours, there is a music system, DVD player, and the traditional gulet staples: backgammon, rummy, playing cards. Crew The captain and crew are long experienced on this coast, and they sail her whenever the weather allows — a point worth noting, since not every gulet still does. Onboard, the team handles meal preparation, service and daily housekeeping, and knows the anchorages well enough to time each arrival before the day boats appear.
