The hull lines and the flow of the deck layout are what stand out first: everything is placed where a sailor would expect it, which is precisely why this generation of the 470 already reads as a modern classic rather than a passing model. Simple, well proportioned, easy to like. Below deck, accommodation is arranged across five cabins for up to ten guests. Four cabins each have a double bed; a fifth cabin has a single bed — a useful configuration for two or three families sailing together, or for a group that would rather not compromise on who sleeps where. Croatia is the natural playground here.
